Be warned.. the English track on this is TERRIBLE. Some shmuck added sfx to the english track to make it sound more modern but it sounds terrible and is just slapped ontop of the original mix and also drowns it out. Ugh..
That being said the Chinese track is excellent and the PQ is the best I have seen on DVD. So if you are only into Chinese audio (which is the only way to watch Chinese movies) then this set is excellent.. for 12$ it is a no brainer. However, stay away if you want dubs. |
I kind of like the crappy english dubbing just as much as I like English subs...
I like both for what they are...
the poor english dubbing has more of a nostalgic feel for me because that's what I grew up watching...I am a fan of it.... for kung-fu movies only
