I'm not agreeing with you. I think the argument is that we have so much content at our fingertips and more media to consume with the click of a remote than ever possible that some people think shows are long for the sake of being long.
Case in point the 13 ep netflix marvel shows.
Attn spans arent getting shorter per se but if something is bloated just to have a filler episode than we will tune out and watch something else.

Which is why the world will shift to short form content. Also the reason why microentertainment will get bigger and bigger. The writing is on the wall and I insist attention spans are getting shorter.
30 minute drama shows will become hugely popular over the next couple of years and from there, stage 1 of the Steedeel prediction will kick in. 20 minutes, 15 minutes do you see?
