Plus I know for a fact they haven't even accepted a bid on the DVD authoring, let alone the High-def yet,and since it's Weinstein, it would be HD DVD only (for now anyway), and since they seem to have halted all HD production for the moment wouldn't hit anyway.
However we're talking what will be at that point a 4 month old movie (right in the typical release window) combined with multiple other releases from the same studio, all owned by the same company
You will notice however that there are a pile of related films coming out with other things. Look at the Best Buy ad from last week. Every Thermopolai film every made was re-promoted or released the same day as 300.
And if Zombie's Halloween didn't come out so late in the summer, they would have moved it to match. In this case it's simply part of AB's big initial Blu push

I guess I should have conveyed the sarcasm in my question, seeing as it's obvious that a movie released in theaters mid August wouldn't be released on Blu ray by October. How about the release dates for the rest of the Summer films? Looking forward to hearing when they'll be released on Blu.
