I think it would be to early for them to send out an email, as they will probibly lower the price again in the next few weeks.

No email for me (so far) but I pre-ordered just yesterday. If I do get an email changing the price then Amazon and I will have some words. I also pre-ordered a lot of other titles at the same time, basically most of everything I want for September thru November. I guess I could threaten to cancel the entire thing if they don't leave my Spidey price alone. Not sure if that would do me any good, but worth a shot I guess.
Seriously though, I think that if they had originally announced the set at $89 then there would not be too many complaints about price on it. I was very surprised that it was only $69 when I ordered it, and still would have ordered it if the price had been what it is now. It will probably go back down anyway between now and release date. The MSRP is about the same as the Mission Impossible set, and I payed around $69 for that IIRC.
