Kryptonsite (one of the largest Smallville Insider/Fan-sites) reports rumors of a potential Smallville spin-off should the series be canceled after its 8th season. No official details of the spin-off have been revealed, but you can bet more information will likely surface once a decision is made regarding the fate of Smallville. Lois & Clark was able to pull off an epic-sized (albeit fairly cheesy
) series on a low budget, and based on today's technology and Smallville's already fairly impressive effects I'm sure the CW could come up with a great Superman show as well (if that's the spin-off they choose to go with). Another option may be Green Arrow series, but seeing as how Aquaman tanked fairly quickly, this idea is rather unlikely. Only time will tell...
