But there's another thing. Computer RGB is from 0-255 while video RGB is from 16-235. So probably the change of brightness is due to the Ycc output being one way and the RGB being another. Before the latest firmware upgrades the PS3 RGB sent 16 as 16 and 235 as 235, now it has a new setting that sends 16 as 0 and 235 as 255, so you might play with that. (they're called Limited/Full in the settings , respectively)
