I found an Hitachi SR-2004 in my attic and decided to see if I could get some use out of it for my home theatre. Ok heres the problem, I have a ps3 connected to a 30in sony wega and was wondering if there was any way to get 5.1 or 7.1 out of this reciever. Right now I have the ps3 connected to the tv with HDMI and then have audio out going to the reciever for L and R speakers. Does this use the tv as the center speaker? also how would I go about connecting other speakers to this? or is this reciever to old for HD audio?
