Practically zero chance on all 3 codecs.
WMV is Microsoft, and Sony refuses consistently to use Microsoft products when they can avoid it (notice their conspicuous refusal to use VC-1 encoding on Blu-ray movies).
Xvid and DivX codecs are commonly used to encode pirated digital copies of video content, and that's probably a political statement by Sony, though I personally think they should open things up a bit and at least allow these two.
As for importance, I don't personally care. I use PS3 Video 9 to do conversion to AVC encoding and haven't had any issues serving out the .MP4/AVC files via TVersity (which also has the nice side effect of allowing you to do fast forward/rewind/resume).
