A good example of what I mean is the sacking of Winterfell. It's a lot more complicated in the books on how it actually happens, but the end result is the same.

Personally I think this will happen..

-Jamie goes against Cersei finally
-Cersei tries to betray Danerys and fails but not before doing a bunch of damage. Cersei dies.
-Theres a lot of tension in Winterfell about Jon bending the knee but Sansa eventually sides with him
-They stop the Night King and rebuild the wall. This involves Bran somehow.
-Danerys dies, but not before giving birth to a son. Jon rules in his place as reagent.
