Actually, I think Garfield could do very well portraying Jim Bakker. Spacey did fine, and I think Garfield would be even better. As for Chastain, I was afraid she'd be too tall to play Tammy Faye, but she's only an inch taller than Peters, who was fine. (Although Tammy Faye herself was 4 inches shorter.) With the right makeup -- a LOT of makeup!

I had always thought, how did Peters, as a wonderful singer, feel being asked to play someone who wasn't particularly noteworthy for her musical talents?
