who else regrets buying burnout party?
by no means am i a big gamer, but i enjoy burnout paradise.
so when criterion comes out with the offline multiplayer "party" expansion for $10 i went for it, and i regret it!
i guess it's my own fault for assuming that when a game that's meant to do online simultaneous multiplayer releases an offline multiplayer expansion it would mean offline simultaneous multiplayer (aka split-screen).
not a bad assumption necessarily, after all, look at the quality free updates we've gotten with burnout: bikes, night/day, more modes, new challanges, trophies, etc. so what do we get when we pay $10? something of proportionally greater value? no! a POS pass-the-pad mode!! even in the original mario bros for NES you didn't have to pass the pad for its take-turns mode.
bloody hell, what a rip.
so who else paid $10 for offline multiplayer thinking it meant split-screen?
