So im getting 5 speakers plus stand for $690 all i need is a sub and i will be using my Onkyo 705.
I was looking into buying the Quintet SL but that would be about $799 and then i have to buy the stands.
My friend is getting me the whole monster monitor speakers with stands for $690.
My apoligies............... yes I did. The best advice anyone can give is: "What sounds good to you and works for you". Speakers definitely are something a person should listen to before hand and before committing. Personal taste is that important and it should be. Would be a bummer to not like your new speakers and lose out on any amount of money.

Ever consider the pre-owned market ??? A person can get a lot more for the money, and there's a ton of great speakers sitting around waiting to be adopted. You might get lucky, especially if your the patient type.
