yes - I'm new too. A few basic queries:

1. Which blu-ray region is Australia in?
2. I seem to recall hearing that you can get multi-region blu-ray players (like u can for DVDs); are they generally sold in Australia without any issues or is it still like the early bad old days of DVDs when u had to get a hardware mod done to enable multi-region?
