The writer's turned down Star Wars/Indiana Jones in favor of creating "new" franchises.
Also, they're dumb AF. If you're going to tell Lucasfilm that they need to create fresh ideas and have different franchises besides Star Wars and Indiana Jones, then why not
YOU create those new franchises for Lucasfilm
