That doesn't mean we're not a minority worth catering for, there wouldn't be a vast (and seemingly increasing) array of indies hawking their wares if there wasn't a market for it, but Disney have always marched to the beat of their own drum when it comes to physical media, always. Ironically enough they were the ones producing the most lavish boxsets out of all the major studios in the laserdisc days, but since then their priorities have shifted and I don't just mean here and now with 4K. Physical media is something that doesn't really concern them any more, they're just going through the motions, and when it comes to wanting the UOT those people are in an even smaller minority of that collector mentality subset. (I think it's a moo point anyway as long as Lucas is still breathing.)

Still if we aren't catered for in some fashion, that leaves a gap in the market for piracy. And that's probably why Lucas brought those limited (lol) DvD editions out.
