Jodie Stephanie D. Turner-Smith (born 7 September 1986 in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England) is a British model and actress, known for her work in The Last Ship (2017), Nightflyers (2018), and Queen & Slim (2019). Turner-Smith was born in Peterborough to Jamaican parents but moved to the United States after several years. She is the only one of her siblings who was not born in Jamaica. She was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" in her senior class at Gaithersburg High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008. She has lived in Los Angeles since 2009.
