For those of you with media closet that have a glass door, any advice on what to look for - and more importantly, what to avoid. One early consideration I had was a black frame storm door. When I looked at the display at Lowes and "tapped" on it, you can easily hear a shake. I can only imagine what a movie with good LFE would do.
My "want" is to have a solid core pine wood door with clear glass center. I would then put a very light smoke tint on the glass.
The big question I have is about reverberation of the glass in a HT. If the door itself shakes I believe I can take care of it with door seal and felt. Advise?
