I always believe in getting the best available technology at the time and only replace equipment about every 10 years. I don't carry debt for this stuff (or anything at all for that matter) and want to stash some cash for vacations, retirement and other things in life rather than upgrade my equipment every other year. As it is said, "A fool and his money is soon parted."
