I find that if you have a problem with an order on Amazon, their customer service is absolutely the best around.
You can have Amazon call you immediately to discuss your problem with a particular order and they will usually fix it. No more waiting on hold!
But try to contact Amazon with a policy issue--good luck! I tried to contact them via snail mail (to get their attention) regarding the price creep of Blu-ray pre-order titles from a previously reasonable $20-25 range to the now current $25-30 range.
Instead I just got a form letter thanking me for supporting Amazon and explaining their post price match policy which has been in effect since September, 2008. That was NOT what I was contacting them about.
How do you contact Amazon management that will listen to us consumers?
