It depends on the store, but they don't always have best window installations, so you can imagine that they're not as good as a home that's sealed up tight. Plus they're often far larger.
As to the posters, it would depend on the humidity, if they get moisture in them, but dry very quickly, then they will have issues, the same if they stay moist.
Might worth checking on the humidity in the room with perhaps a large fan (on and off) in-between the where the posters are hung (I'd take them down for the experiment) and the bathroom to see how it changes.
I decent extractor in the bathroom would probably remove the steam.
