Default Retired actors that should get the Joe Pesci in The Irishman comeback.

After coming back from a ten year acting hiatus Joe Pesci showed the world an acting depth that audiences have never expected from him. Though a beloved character actor, Pesci was typecast as either the wise-cracking funny guy or the threatening mobster in Martin Scorsese films. His role features none of the mannerisms that we associate with Tommy DeVito in GoodFellas, as we've got a soft-spoken old man that takes the seedy nature of his environment into a hidden place, which makes scenes such as the meeting with Jimmy Hoffa all the more compelling.

What actors who have left the industry should get another chance to get a juicy role in a feature film? I'm partial to just watching a film set in a New Mexico retirement home where Gene Hackman encounters Jack Nicholson and the two legends just chat for hours about everything.
