That's the likely choice. I'm just not convinced that's what will happen. It doesn't really make sense for Netflix to license the earlier films for the simple fact that (up until recently) they've all been available on DVD and Blu-ray for years. Plus, if Funimation have really lost the license to
1.11, there are still two films in their possession for the foreseeable future.
Now I can definitely see Netflix jumping all over
3.0+1.0 once it's license is available, because a ton of people are gonna sign up so they can watch the final chapter to the Rebuild of Evangelion quadrilogy. I also think GKIDS and Shout Factory are worthy contenders at licensing the films too. Which I honestly would prefer.
