It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be a good release with the original subtitles.
I finished my subtitles reconstruction in Advanced SubStation Alpha format today.
Has frame perfect timing to German BD. Typesetting/size/positioning is not completely identical, but close enough imo. Subtitles can be converted to Blu-ray subs with avisynth + avs2bdnxml, but some lines may need to be retimed to prevent timing issues on Blu-ray players.
