No, I don't like the man either - and he's not just on the BBC, he's also to be found on BT Sport presenting some (not all) of the Champions League games. I'm sure there used to be a time when you couldn't work for two different broadcasters at the same time, but maybe that's all changed now.
As for women's football, I don't follow it but I did see a game a while back (don't remember who the teams were), and I was impressed by how well they played - they were getting stuck in there with some good tackles and were passing the ball around really well. I still prefer men's football though.
Me too. I really enjoy both football and snooker, and have fond memories of the old faces from the 1980's which is round about the time when I began watching it on the BBC. Occasionally I'll follow a darts tournament - especially if there are players I recognize, and I've even been known to dip into cricket every now and again for some one-day matches - I've never bothered with test cricket.

Steve Davis was my hero. I got a six foot ‘pot Black’ snooker table for Christmas as a kid. I absolutely loved it.
Cricket, I can tolerate England Internationals but not so much the county stuff.
