I’m in the process of putting a small home theater together. One question that I can’t seem to have clearly answered is around the RMS ratings of speakers. If I purchase a receiver with a watts per channel RMS that’s higher than the RMS power of a speaker, will that cause issues? In some cases the max power handling is even a tad less than the Max out of the receiver. Are there any guidelines you suggest I follow? Thanks for the help!
