There are no legal issues with Khan. It was merely made and forgotten, like many other 60's, 70's, and 80's shows were. You aren't likely to ever see it unless CBS pulls out the surviving film materials and remasters them for streaming and it is unlikely that they will do that. So little is known about the series that it really is a mystery, as it only went four episodes on air, with whatever else was shot and finished gone into the dustbin of TV history.
