Right now I have a basic Audio Technica AT LP, and a Victrola pink set up with speakers which I replaced the needle. I have a full surround sound home theater with projector and amazing audio and I want better for my vinyl. I have over 500+ old vinyl/some new. I use to have a very old vinyl player but it eventually had issues so had to get rid of it. I was looking at the $300 Denon turntable that has capability to hook up to receivers with out phono inputs. I have a Denon receiver so it would be nice. Unsure though. Would it be a bad idea to get a old receiver from back in the day or do I want more of a newer one.
