The 2nd season at points was rushed. I think season 2 could have been expanded to a 3rd season and have much more natural progression.
I think the change in Octavian was probably the most jarring for me.

Rome is one of my favorite series, and I want to see it on Blu! I have the DVDs, and have been wanting to sit down and watch the series again. I really like the potrayal of Caesar in the series, a more sympathetic character and more in tune with the historical Caesar (he was not a tyrant out to destroy the Roman Republic - his enemies did just fine doing that
without him
).
Plus, the series will most likely look awesome on Blu
