But yeah, the next test is going to be connecting it straight to the router. The problem with that is the way my stuff is set up in that all cables are hidden and stuff. It's going to be a huge project just to troubleshoot it.
cant you carry the player to where the router is with an extra cable? or maybe straight to the modem? i have my modem and router on top of the entertainment center hidden but its easy access. the only thing wireless in this house is this laptop and the kids puter. i ran one cable two rooms over for my pc. my wife thought i was nuts. what else is new.
