Try having only a single monitor physically connected. Just turning off the dual monitor support may not be enough.
The reason I say this is that somewhere between the Video output and the TV input put it is flagging the connection. We assume the cord is not the issue. So it is either on the Video card end (too many connections, settings etc) or on the TV end (settings/resolution etc.) Make sure the resolution being sent by the Video card is the same resolution to be displayed on the TV. Does your PC recognize your TV as a valid monitor or just as a generic monitor type?
