It's a matter of a microsecond: different ***** fertilizes the egg, you get a Sylvie instead of a Loki.
Plus, y'all need to remember that a) Loki is actually a Frost Giant, and b) was
adopted by Odin & Frigga. Maybe something happens where they can't have any more kids after Thor & they adopt in every alternate reality, so that second child could be anybody. In one universe, you get our Loki. In another, Black Loki. Still another, they adopt much later & you get Kid Loki. Female Loki, Gator Loki, Robot Loki, Sentient Banana Loki... Because he/she/they are adopted, Loki could be literally
anybody.
You just have to ask... What If?
