I think the NZ9 will benefit only the people that sit really really close to the screen. It will be hard to tell the differences of the optics unless you sit close. If you watch at a normal distance, the NZ8 will be perfect. I myself want an NZ8, but I'll have to wait until I have enough funds. By the way, none of these projectors are worth getting unless you have a dedicated home theater room that is exceptionally dark with 100% light control. Preferably all black velvet walls and ceiling and black carpet.
