I also got through the series sometime in August after binging over a month, near-daily. And I was impressed with the picture. Some of those streams in later seasons watched first time round were obviously so revelatory on these UHD discs. Truly like seeing it fresh and the shadow range of HDR impact even made the plots of 7 and (moreso) 8 more bearable.
Having had up to season 5 only on BD before I looked to wait for 4K releasing, this was a real treat. Highly recommend all seasons, again, including the unfairly maligned as being limited in nature Season 1 source.
