Anyway you misunderstand me. I'm not saying this movie should not have English subtitles available as an option. I object to there being an all or nothing approach to English subtitles for the foreign language dialogue. I don't want to have to watch the movie with either English subtitles on for the whole movie or having to keep turning them on and off whenever foreign dialogue is spoken, like with Black Widow.
In theatres in English speaking countries you wouldn't have English subtitles on for the whole movie (unless you intentionally sought out a special showing) so it's an annoyance to contend with on disc.

Well sure, it’s not the optimum situation, but as for being a dealbreaker, can’t relate. It would be much more of an annoyance if there were no 3D. Just don’t look down during the English parts.
We’re damn lucky to be getting this in 3D at all.
