Hi,

I’m looking for a new 4K Blu-ray player, preferably one that has Dolby Vision support. I heard the Sony UBP-X800M2 is pretty decent for the price, however I heard there’s a lot of freezing issues. However, in late 2021 there was a firmware update that supposedly made 4K Blu-ray playback more stable. Can anyone confirm this update fixed the freezing issues I hear so much about? Or does the player still have the issues?
