People have been making that BJ joke for years, it's such a lazy joke. The Doctor's trying to figure out how to communicate with the creature, he blows into the tube and then listens, as if it might be an old-fashioned speaking tube. They've been in Who before, I think they used them to communicate in the lighthouse in Horror of Fang Rock. But maybe the lighthouse looks like a big d*ck to you too, I don't know.
