Now can anyone comment on software that already does this? or perhaps move this thread to the correct forum category. I am not sure if this is the right one.
I really really thought that one software was already doing this. They just emulate the disc drive with decrypted contents and the main reasoning for them to provide that feature was for you to watch your blurays on any 3rd party video player of your choice after you've paid them the huge fee.
ANYDVD HD description states
AnyDVD HD is another Windows-based decrypter that removes restrictions of Blu-ray and DVD disc automatically in the background. After decryption, the Blu-ray will become usable to all programs on your Windows computer, such as Blu-ray backup software like CloneDVD, CloneBD, and others.
I always thought they did this and this description sounds a lot like that "in the background" etc
