Managed to grab 17 sets that I most wanted at a time when they were going for either £13.24 or later £16.24 pre-owned (though 9 arrived factory-sealed). There's still a couple I want:

Eclipse Series 19: Chantal Akerman in the Seventies
Eclipse Series 21: Oshima's Outlaw Sixties
Eclipse Series 38: Masaki Kobayashi Against the System

But there have been a couple I've sold as they became available on blu-ray:

Eclipse Series 29: Aki Kaurismäki’s Leningrad Cowboys
Eclipse Series 39: Early Fassbinder
Eclipse Series 43: Agnès Varda in California

These are the ones I was most thrilled to get

Eclipse Series 8: Lubitsch Musicals
Eclipse Series 32: Pearls of Czech New Wave
Eclipse Series 40: Late Ray
Eclipse Series 46: Ingrid Bergman's Swedish Years

I don't see why Criterion don't extend this no frills series to Blu-ray (two or three titles per disc like the way they handled Rohmer's Six Moral Tales). A cost effective way of seing a favorite director or film movement's lesser-known works. Or at least extend the dvd series. It's brilliant.
