Best option : don't make this a jihad, just relax and let things play out the way they're supposed to.
One thing that scared me most about the red format is the picture of a very few extremists painting the AVS HD DVD support group in a bad light. If you consider what is being posted, most red supporters are quite reasonable people with strong opinions, but they might as well be your next door neighbours, even though some just get caught up in the rhetoric and politics and atmosphere encouraged by some people there.
A very very few of them, I can imagine would climb up water towers with sniper rifles and take out anyone who ever wronged them, and those guys are just no fun to be around with.
Would hate for ANY blu-ray supporters to become as extreme. That might turn me off HDM forever.
