I just got done changing mine. Had to use the 'ol screwdriver trick...

Thought it would be a nice off-topic discussion.
Nowadays...the economy is killing our blu-ray expenses. Oil prices jacked up the price of a quart of oil..which led to higher prices for oil changes. An oil change is around $27 these days. Even Walmart charges $30 now..but don't take it there!

Just wanted to get a rough idea of how many on here do their own oil changes and what kind of oil/weight do you use?
I usually costs me about $15 in supplies to do it myself(not counting synthetic). So I save about half the cost which adds up down the line.
In my S2000, I use Mobil 1 synthetic 10w30 > Honda filter Total- $32 Changed once a year
I just changed the oil in my Accord threw in 5W30 basic Pennzoil. Got the 5qt jug for $12 which isn't too bad. I used a Honda filter this time but I also like Purolator. $16 total
I've also got a beater - '01 dodge neon. I use that Walmart brand Supertech. $10 +$3 for the Fram filter..and I'm under $14 which isn't bad. It's a beater so I don't care.
