It sounds like you aren't very happy with your 360, so I don't think anyone is going to convince you...

As for the hype that is surrounding Halo 3, it is very hard to say how well the game can live up to the expectations...

Sometimes a decent game like Lair becomes a defiled game when too much hype puts it under too many fine-tooth combs...

I think that Halo 3 will probably retain much of the same online antics that made the second one both popular and utterly hated at the same time. When you talk to people about Halo 2, you get a mixed bag about both the single player and the multiplayer aspect...

I currently do own both the PS3 and the 360, and will be most certainly picking up Halo 3 when it is released.

Even though the graphics will probably be decent, there seem to be some very cool things going to be included with the game. There is talk of an on-the-spot map editor where you can bascially call in any weapon, vehicle, ammo, etc, etc at any point in time. Think of it like the Matrix in a video game, where anything can be yours at any time.

It sounds like something that could seriously be fun to play with some friends on a lazy drunken saturday night. It also helps that it is a seperate feature outside of the normal multiplayer so it won't be used to effect rank or anything of that nature.

Outside of that, Halo 3 will probably be more of the same. I can't see selling your 360 though. You already have the money shelled out for it. Games like Too Human, Mass Effect, Fable 2, and Alan Wake are not FPS games that should be very fun to play, and could warrant keeping your 360...

Of course, in the coming months, well into next year, I am sure you can find plenty to play on your PS3 as well so...

Whatever works best for you. But why not have the best of both worlds if you have already spent the money???
