I'm in Pa near the Scranton area. I'm not too familiar with Darien Lake but I will look into it. I'm close to Dorney Park which really isn't much but I guess it gets the job done. That's hiliarious about the socks.
I'm in the same boat with you about Kinda Ka...it's just an amazing roller coaster. I rode on it only once and that was 2 years ago. It broke down while I was in line...I waited 3 hours and finally I was able to get on. I rode in the front row...

well worth the wait. As I got off another coaster it was broken down again. I've heard rumors that they may dismantle it. Not sure what's going on with it. You'd figure they'd make it more reliable.
I was going to go last month and just as I was about to buy the tickets I noticed that it was closed...It's really not worth going out there unless you know you'll be able to get on KK. I heard it was struck by lightening. There's also pictures of the engine completely out and being worked on.

Here I am in the front row...damn branch.

Ya Hydra wasn't bad...but you can only ride Steel Force so many times before it gets old. lol I hear there's some new one there called possessed.
