I entered $9,000. The tax software I use adjusted it to $2,000. I'll trust that software to figure it out for me.

It's just comical that someone somewhere in the government had the thought "yeah $200 seems good" knowing damn well a whole house of new windows costs (from the estimates I received) anywhere from $7,000 to $30,000.
