I was gonna say Hunter, especially the first season. I also always kind of felt like Justified was a bit of a Southern-style Dirty Harry.
As for Lethal Weapon, besides the actual show they did a few years ago on Fox (which was really good at first), there was a show in the late-90s called L.A. Heat that fit the LW mold. Steven Williams (Mr. X from The X-Files) played the elder Murtaugh-esque detective to a younger, more reckless partner. It was a low-budget independent series that aired in foreign markets first before premiering in the US on TNT in 1999. It had crazy-insane action sequences in most episodes that were recycled from various films made by the same producers, making the show look like it had a bigger budget than it actually did. There are two seasons, and I believe both are available on Amazon Prime. I was a huge fan and even ran a website dedicated to it that's still around to this day.
