Hugh Grant was supposed to play Gilderoy Lockhart but had to pull out because of a prior commitment. Ian McKellen turned down playing Dumbledore after Richard Harris' passing out of respect for him.

Lucius Malfoy - Jason Isaacs Can anyone play him better...
Snape - Rickman need I say more
Hagrid - Coltrane will be tuff to beat
Draco Malfoy - Felton was damn near perfect, towards the end when he was conflicted and in pain was played very well.
Dumbledore was replaced already and Harris while good changed some of the way major scenes should have played out, key point Goblet of Fire. When he confronted Harry in the books he was calm. In the movies he went nuts.
