As I noted in the House of the Dragon thread apart from the books which I haven't read this story was also covered in the extras on I want to say the season seven blu ray which various cast members narrate the story of Aegon's Conquest through a motion comic.
It was a decent tale and if they stick reasonably close to the story it will make for great content.
I've literary just finished Game of Thrones season eight one idea for another spin of is the doom. I don't think it was actually covered on what brought an end to their civilization.
