Emily Blunt and Matt Damon Starring in Sci Fi movie
They're going to star in an adaptation of a Philip K. Dick short story titled "Adjustment Team"

Quote:
The project is titled The Adjustment Bureau and is a sci-fi love story based on the Philip K. Dick short story titled "Adjustment Team" (found in this collection). THR announces that Emily Blunt will star opposite Matt Damon in the film, which is being written and directed by screenwriter George Nolfi (Ocean's Twelve, The Sentinel, The Bourne Ultimatum). Universal is developing the project with Media Rights Capital. It sounds like this will be going into production soon and be the next project for both Blunt and Damon, however, no start date was announced in the THR article.
"Adjustment Team," first published in 1954, has similarities to Alex Proyas' Dark City. Ed Fletcher, a real estates salesman, finds out that our world is really one big soundstage controlled by strange and mysterious guardians. Nolfi's version follows a congressman (Damon) instead, on the rise in politics, who meets a beautiful ballet dancer (Blunt) only to discover strange circumstances keep them apart. That's definitely a major change from Philip K. Dick's story on the surface, and I'm curious to see how much else he's changed. As for Emily Blunt and Matt Damon, these are two actors I really can't wait to see in a PKD movie. You?
