If you're asking why the V10s are cheaper - technology progresses, prices settle. Flat panel TVs are still settling.

The V10 is everything the 800u was (in most cases, more) except in one area - the built-in speakers aren't even close to that of the 800u. The 800u had "subwoofers" built in...they did a pretty nice job with the low end. The V10 does not. The 800u sounded fantastic for a tv. The V10 sounds like a tv.

Under what circumstances are you getting a swap?
