Turning on Match Content will switch any stream outside of Max and Peacock to the appropriate display settings. IE: 1080p or lower will be HD/SD without HDR/DV enabled, 1080p/4K HDR will display as HDR10, and (if supported) 1080p/4K HDR10+ will output at the proper HDR10+.

Now, while watching content on Max and Peacock, you will have a Dolby Vision layer for everything. Movies and shows with Dolby Vision tag will appear with the proper color while the non DV streams may look a bit darker. Don’t want that? Then as jumpman says, you got to change your Video settings everytime.
