Can batteries truly last that long?
Even the most expensive rechargeable batteries don't last; they lose completely their charge after a certain number of charges...say ten years max, or less.
Still it's cheaper than buying regular alkaline batteries.

The 2008 Pioneer PRO-141FD and PRO-101FD were Pioneers last plasma displays that went out of production in April of 2009 when Pioneer shut down the United States plasma factory. So there was never any 3D displays made by Pioneer since 3D displays did not start appearing on the market until the year 2010 from various companies with the launch of the 2010 Blu-ray 3D format.
Not until the year 2016 did a 4K OLED display have overall better picture quality when compared to the year 2008 Pioneer plasma that are 2K displays.
